| January 8, 2016 6:00 AM

Graydon G. Reynolds, 85, passed away Dec. 13, 2015, with his wife Pat by his side. They were married 53 years.

He was born March 26, 1930, in Bemidji, Minnesota. He has six brothers and three sisters — a close family.

When Gray was young he married his childhood sweetheart, Velma Clapper. She passed away in her 20s, leaving him to raise three young sons. A few years later he married Pat and raise their six children in Oregon.

Gray worked many jobs; his last two were his favorites — city fireman in Forest Grove, Oregon, and Plum Creek sawmill in Columbia Falls.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, LeRoy and Dale.

Gray is survived by his wife, Pat; their children, Merlin and Tanna of Chehalis, Washington, William and Cheryl or Reno, Nevada, Deborah and Ivan Petersen of Columbia Falls, Steve Reynolds and Jeri of Carlton, Oregon, Tom Reynolds of Monmouth, Oregon, and Terry and Sandy Reynolds of Soldotna, Alaska; many grandkids and great-grandkids; siblings, Muriel Jensen, Gale Bailey, Bruce and Betty, Jesse and Marlas, Don and Mary, and Patty Ann and Lannie Luding, all of Columbia Falls, and Charles of Evergreen; and sister-in-law Shirley of Columbia Falls.

Gray was very proud of all of our children and will be missed greatly.

His wishes were to have a celebration of life with a potluck some time in June, and his ashes spread in the mountains he loved.
