LETTER: America needs to wake up and elect leaders who will follow God

| January 8, 2016 11:00 AM

Can’t believe the attack on Glen Hook, of Kalispell, by Mark Suppelsa in his letter “Claims about Obama called lies.” What a joke! The problem we have with Mr. Obama is not what he is or what he says he is at the moment for political gain. The problem is what he is not.

In my opinion, he is not a Christian. A Christian loves Jesus, keeps his commandments and strives to be like Jesus in the way that person lives his or her life. Mr. Obama, Muslims and the Clintons and all others who deny Jesus are what I would consider to be antichrists who do the will of Satan by attacking Christians. They strive to control and rule over people with regulations and laws that are ungodly and unconstitutional.

Consider abortion laws, the murder of God’s creation (Jeremiah 1:5). Jehovah says: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart.” Life begins before conception, that’s a fact. Same-sex marriage, gun laws, global warming, the economy, radical Islamist extremism, Obamacare. Mr. Obama’s views and policies on these issues prove that he is certainly not a Christian. That’s a fact, Mark.

It’s a good thing to help the poor if you’re not forced to by stealing or taxing. “The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.” I agree with Mr. Jefferson, He saw these evil people coming. Muslim extremists want us dead because we have the Truth: there’s only one God and one way to him and eternal life, his son Jesus.

God made us all equal and free and no one has the right to rule or oppress us. We need to wake up, America, and elect leaders that will follow God and the U.S. Constitution. To vote for a liberal socialist like Barack Hussein Obama or Mrs. Clinton you have to throw the whole Bible, God’s word, and the U.S. Constitution in the trash. All this junk is not very Christian of our current government, right Mark? —Monte C. Weaver, Kalispell
