Police get call after teeth go missing

A business manager called Kalispell Police Department about an allegedly intoxicated man knocking on doors, looking for his teeth. The manager called the police in concern for the man, who was reportedly limping down the street after not finding his teeth at the business.

Employees of a U.S. 93 business had video of several people driving into the parking lot and dumping trash all over the ground.

A hospital security guard called police when someone in a van allegedly threatened outgoing patients with a pistol. Officers found the man in a van with a BB gun.

A man called police to report his neighbor, who allegedly walked around the property often with a gun on his hip, making the caller feel unsafe simply walking to his car each morning.

An employee of an East Kalispell business was able to detain one woman suspected of shoplifting, while two other women were able to drive away with several items from the business.

Police received a follow-up call from man who had reported a gun, GPS and hunting pack missing. The caller had found all the items at a local pawn shop.

Witnesses reported seeing a man trying to siphon gas from cars in downtown Kalispell.

Someone reported a trailer stolen from their home in central Kalispell. The owner did not have any information to offer officers about the trailer, and the dealer was unable to located records of the sale.

A woman called police after noticing someone had taken a handful of books from a shelf on the exterior of her home and threw them in the snow.

A man called from California to report some possible drug activity.

An employee called police about a suspicious man looking through items at a thrift shop. Police were unable to locate the man when they arrived.

A man called in his “soon-to-be ex-wife” for panhandling outside a Kalispell restaurant. The caller was worried for his child, who was reportedly in his mother’s care at the time.

After a confusing altercation, a woman called police about a man who had allegedly just stolen her cell phone. The man, she said, believed that she had stolen his cell phone before the altercation. Police were able to return the woman’s phone without further confrontation.


Residents called Whitefish Police Department about two dogs found at separate times and locations without collars. One was a lab and shepard cross, the other a husky.


A Kalispell man called Columbia Falls Police Department and Kalispell Police Department to report someone had been stealing his mail.


Someone called Columbia Falls Police after finding several tools near his car, suggesting someone had tried to break into the vehicle before giving up. Officers collected the tools.
