John Charles Ouldhouse, 68

John Charles Ouldhouse, 68, passed away at his Kalispell residence on Jan. 9, 2016.

John was born Feb. 13, 1947, in Anaconda, the son of Charles L. and Lucille (Claire) Ouldhouse. He grew up in Anaconda and graduated school there.

John then enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1965, and was on board the USS Bryce Canyon.

He was honorably discharged in 1969. In 1980, he married Faye Holter in Anaconda. They were married for 35 years before John’s passing.

John worked as a baker, a pipe fitter, guard and supervisor of the bakery in Montana State Prison, flagger and over the road truck driver.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping, and was a handyman.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garrett and Della Ouldhouse, and Katheryn and John Van Vynck; and two sons, Ron Ouldhouse and Duane Hagerud.

John is survived by his wife, Faye Ouldhouse, of Kalispell; parents, Charles and Lucille Ouldhouse, of Anaconda; sons, Charles, Louis, Ron, Jory and Duane; and daughter, Cindy Storkson; sisters, Lucille Laird, Margaret Drager, Marion Koll and Ann Gieger, brothers, Gary, Michael and Jim Ouldhouse; grandchildren, Anthony Sundh, Elijah Ouldhouse, Shyla Storkson, Veronica Ouldhouse, Kristen Ouldhouse and Dawn Marie Ouldhouse; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life for John will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 20 at the Gateway Christian Fellowship, 300 E. Fourth St., Anaconda.
