Housekeeper leaves home with meds

Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies logged a report after a housekeeper come into a woman’s home to do an estimate and allegedly left with some pain pills. The woman said there were likely 100 pills in the bottle that went missing at the residence on North Hill Road.

A man calling from West Glacier hung up on a deputy after the deputy suggested that the man post “no trespassing” signs on his property to mitigate neighbor problems. A neighbor had been court-ordered not to use a roadway that ran through the man’s property, but the neighbor had been noncompliant so the man said that he was going to use a truck to block the road. The deputy suggested posting the appropriate signs and calling for deputy assistance if a trespasser came on the property, but the man was not sold on the idea.

An deputy found that a man was out looking for pink rocks to give his wife after someone called from Columbia Falls worried someone might have fallen in the river. The person saw a light illuminating an area near an island.

A man attacked nurses at a medical facility. Staff got the situation under control before deputies arrived.


Kalispell Police gave advice to a man who had rented a public pavilion and was worried that his guests might bring alcohol. The man told the guests not to come with alcohol but was concerned he might be cited if they disobeyed.

A person on Sixth Avenue West was counseled after he or she reported overhearing a neighbor say he was going to “go upstairs, grab his 44, and solve some problems.” The reporting party wanted extra patrol.

A breakup gone wrong was reported on Magstadt Lane where a woman reported that her boyfriend had stolen her car after the pair broke up and she decided to move to Billings. An officer was able to locate the vehicle and defuse the incident.


Whitefish Police responded to LaBrie Drive where a man who had been receiving death threats from someone on social media said that the sliding glass door had been left open.
