Diane Zorb, 70, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, in Kalispell, with her two children, Steven and Kristi, by her side.

Diane was born on Oct. 2, 1945, in Minneapolis to Sylvia and Stanley Erickson who moved the family to Montana when Diane was a young child. Diane attended Flathead County High School and married her high school sweetheart, Larry Zorb, in 1963.

Diane was a loving, supportive and dedicated wife and mother. She and Larry created a life together in the Flathead Valley centered around family, friends, fun and work. They spent many years living at Echo Lake swimming, water skiing and raising their family. Through the years they started a small, successful business with close friends and owned a local gift shop as well as several rental units in the area. Together, Diane and Larry enjoyed and experienced many things in their life. After their children grew, they lived in Kalispell and enjoyed traveling. Diane and Larry were married for 36 years before Larry passed away in 2000. After Larry passed away, Diane found great joy spending time with and helping care for her grandson, Landon, doted on her pets and spent time with family and friends.

Diane is survived by her son, Steven Zorb; her daughter, Kristi Zorb-Seals; her grandson, Landon Zorb; her mother, Sylvia Erickson; her sisters, Sharon Holcomb and Bonnie Tobiason; her brothers, Edwin Erickson and Arlen Erickson; as well as numerous other relatives.

Diane requested to be cremated. A memorial will be held at her home from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24, for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to Humane Society of Northwest Montana, 100 Adopt A Pet Way, U.S. 93 N., Kalispell, MT 59901; (406) 752-7297.
