LETTER: Obama's actions speak louder than letter's errors

| January 24, 2016 11:00 AM

Okay Mr. Weed (Jan. 22 letter), now you’re the great leveler (and/or fact finder) for us readers of the Daily Inter Lake — that is, as to accuracy in political thought, observations or writings by others, the president included.

Let me as a longtime observer and Inter Lake reader make a point here. Most of us know only too well where you personally are with your political thinking. Going on, let’s look at some facts as to what Bob Fraser said about Obama and what must have irked you — the known and devout liberal that you are, sir.

We on the right remember all that was said here and elsewhere about the “falsities” uttered in many forums by our socialist/Marxist President Obama — and also his very questionable actions. So that said, and maybe technically in your eyes, a bit of Obama’s writing was misinterpreted by Bob Fraser. But in reading the two published books by Obama, there is much damning evidence beyond those three quoted lines in Mr. Fraser’s letter.

Are you insinuating that Obama is not accurately reflected by those points made/raised by Bob Fraser and others? If so, and by all accounts of the happenings since 2008, you sir have had your proverbial head in the sand, or have ignored much of the truth about this man, our president, and most around here will agree, you are a leftist who is blind to reality and have no right to call the rest of us readers — and American patriots — flat-out “Right-wing Obama haters.”

Nice though that you wrote, and again exposed yourself, Mr. Weed. But I for one am 100 percent with Bob Fraser and never ever with you and your warped socialist ideology or that of your other liberal thinking local followers! —Will Elliott, Polson
