Jeff Gerrish, 53

Jeff Gerrish, son of Duff Gerrish and stepson of Marion Gerrish of St. Ignatius and Kalispell, died Jan. 18, 2016, of a gunshot wound, at his home in St. Ignatius. The death is still under investigation.

Jeff was born Sept. 17, 1962. His mother was Dorothy Gerrish, deceased.

He leaves a stepbrother, Marshall Noice, of Kalispell; and longtime partner, Darcy Wolley, and her daughter, Carly of Vancouver, Washington.

Jeff was a graduate of the University of Montana School of Journalism, specializing in photography.

A celebration of life will be held later.
