Philip Jon Reed passed away Dec. 21, 2015.

He was born to William And Violet (Moffat) Reed in Detroit on Nov. 1, 1935.

He served in the Navy from 1954 to 1958. He was assigned to the USS Curtiss and went to the Antarctic.

He married his wife Betty in 1962 and went to Michigan State University.

He moved to Montana with Betty in 1963 and he taught school in Swan Lake. Then he taught school in Fallon, Nevada, for two years. But he loved Montana so much, that he moved back and had lived there since.

He lived life to the fullest and loved hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and going to Moose’s with his family. He made many friends everywhere he went. He will be missed.

A celebration of his life is planned for this summer.
