Connie Lorene Johnson, 62

Connie Lorene Johnson, formerly of Kalispell, sadly passed away on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, in Panama City, Florida, of multi-organ failure. She was 62 years old.

Born in Santa Barbara, California, on Sept. 25, 1953, Connie was raised as the daughter of her Aunt Lorene and husband Willard Johnson of Kalispell. Her early years were spent participating in the family business as the organist at the Johnson Funeral Home. Throughout her life Connie continued in her passion for music.

She attended school at Concordia College in Minnesota and from there spent many years as a talented pianist, singer and songwriter. Connie traveled throughout the country, performing in places such as Las Vegas and Hawaii. She shared her gift and love of music with everyone she met.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Lorene Johnson, and her brother, Paul Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter Malia Johnson of Boston, and her brother Leonard Johnson of Los Altos, California. She is also survived by her two sisters, Suzan Wild and Christie Gentile of Saint Louis, Missouri and Christie’s two daughters, April and Sheri.
