LAW ROUNDUP: Bigfork High School gets another bomb threat
Bigfork School District sent home an email notifying parents that a possible bomb threat was found written in a girls bathroom at Bigfork High School, with June 7 as the target date for the explosives to go off. Privately contracted canines and Flathead County sheriff’s deputies cleared the property, and administrators anticipate increased law enforcement presence at the campus the next few days.
Lincoln County sheriff’s deputies and Fish and Wildlife officers responded to Mile Marker 14 on Fisher River Road after a car collided with a moose. Also, Troy Police officers got a call about traffic that was blocked on U.S. 2 at Mile Marker 17 because a baby moose was near the roadway.
A woman reported to Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that someone took a baseball bat to her Jeep. The woman’s daughter’s name was allegedly scratched into the side of the vehicle.
