LAW ROUNDUP: Bieber look-alike attempts to pry open window
Two teens described as looking like Justin Bieber and Jack White were allegedly trying to wrench open a stained glass window at an East Seventh Street church, a bicyclist told Whitefish Police Department. The Justin Bieber look-alike was described as wearing a white shirt, sunglasses and jeans.
The Jack White look-alike was reportedly sporting a black shirt, black jeans and a black fedora. No damage or sign of entry was discovered.
Extra patrol was requested on Baker Avenue when a woman called to report “the thugs doing construction look at her when she walks down the street,” and felt it was “creepy.”
A tired woman on Baker Avenue called police to find out if a construction company was planning to use dynamite again because it was keeping her from sleeping.
A janitor on East Fourth Street requested extra patrol because “there might be pranks over the next two weeks.”
A heavily intoxicated woman on Nelson Lane complained that her boyfriend took her car without permission. The boyfriend stated she had called him to pick her up and had dropped her off at her home. He reported that her car was still at the house where she had been drinking. The woman allegedly disagreed with officers and “rambled in a drunken state” about her boyfriend stealing her car.
Someone on Wisconsin Avenue told police he or she had hit a bear, wounding it.
A landlord who lived out of state called Columbia Falls Police Department for assistance after receiving complaints that her renters on Ninth Avenue West had parked a large motor home on the front lawn. The renters said the motor home would be moved after the weekend, stating that it was company visiting for graduation.
Someone on First Street East said his or her package had been addressed and delivered to the wrong P.O. Box and that the P.O. Box owner had taken the package even though it wasn’t addressed to them.
A woman on Fourth Avenue West called police to report that “some shady things” were going on while she was at work.
Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a water rescue on Hawkes Lane in Essex.
