LAW ROUNDUP: Woman manages flaming chicken situation with officer's help

Columbia Falls Police were told they could stand down after a woman called from Riverwood Drive to say that there had been some substantial flames after the chicken she was grilling “got away from her.” The woman was able to extinguish the bird by herself.

The woman decided to pick the deer up and take it into the woods in hopes that its mother would take it back. The officer warned that the mother might not take the animal back because of prior human contact.
