LETTER: Marijuana is not dangerous drug
Our criminal system promises to be fair to American residents β or does it?
Any comparison to the harmful effects between alcohol and marijuana do not exist. My 67 years around terrible alcohol abuse have seen or heard about millions killed, raped, beaten up or robbed and families destroyed. Alcohol encourages crime of all kinds. This troublemaker is proudly sold at our food stores.
Parents are extremely good at teaching the proper abuse of alcohol. Tobacco and junk food are also big troublemakers and also sold at our food stores. With marijuana, alarmists imagine the facts and punish the innocent for as long as 80 years. Millions of innocent residents have been treated very unjustly, unfairly with jail time, fines, criminal records and loss of jobs. All for doing nothing against anyone.
Marijuana should not be listed among the worst drugs. Put alcohol, junk food and tobacco there.
