Pamela Jo (nee Crane) Forsythe, 64
Pamela Jo (nee Crane) Forsythe, of Kalispell, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at the age of 64.
Pam was born to parents Billy Joe and Elaine “Tootsie” Crane on Nov. 19, 1951, in Kalispell. She attended Flathead High School and graduated in 1970. After high school, Pam attended Kinman Business College in Spokane.
In 1973, she married Dwight Forsythe. Pam and Dwight had two daughters, Alishia and Monika. In 1980, they left Montana for Southern California, where they lived together until Dwight’s death in 2003. In 2004 Pam moved to Blythe, California, where she attended Palo Verde College and earned an Associate of Arts degree in business. Pam worked at the Ironwood Prison for several years. In 2013 Pam moved in with her mother in Sun City West, Arizona.
Pam is survived by her mother, Elaine “Tootsie” Crane; daughter, Alishia Zaldivar; daughter, Monika Forsythe; son-in-law, Soren “David” Zaldivar; grandson, Tristian Zaldivar; and granddaughter, Ashlyn Zaldivar.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Crane; and her husband, Dwight Forsythe.
Family and friends are invited to attend the scattering of the ashes outside of Oceanside Harbor, California, at 6:30 pm. Friday, July 1. Afterward, a celebration of life party will be held from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at her daughter Monika’s residence in Oceanside, California. The family is grateful for the condolences.
