Woman ignores friend request
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a call from an Oklahoma resident concerned about the safety of a Montana woman who never responded to his friend request. He said he found the woman, whom he never met, on Facebook. He requested that deputies check on her. He told dispatch he had similar situations with women he found on Facebook throughout the nation.
A woman reported that while her grandson was at a friend’s house, he was threatened with a butcher knife by two of his friends and then urinated on by the same two boys.
Dispatch received a call that cows were wandering a Kalispell neighborhood. The cows were gone by the time deputies arrived.
A West Glacier resident reported that a man had dragged a camper onto her property and refused to move it. When she informed the man he was on private property, he allegedly called her a liar.
Whitefish Police counseled a man who said he had missed his train. The man said he planned to sleep at the station to catch the next train.
A woman called the police after her allegedly drunk roommate had thrown their dog head-first into a wall. Dispatch reported the woman also seemed to be under the influence as she argued with her roommate about the proper treatment of animals. Both roommates agreed to go to bed.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies searched for several youths who were spotted running on roofs in Libby.
A woman reported there were two parties on her cellphone service instead of one and “a deputy needed to get this fixed for her.” The woman was advised to call her cellphone carrier.
Someone reported suspicious activity on Billybob Lane. Deputies found the suspicious woman and asked her to return to Idaho, where she was on probation.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks received a call to save a three-legged baby deer caught in a fence. The fawn was successfully freed.
Fish, Wildlife and Parks responded to a report of a woman camping in the area who was acting “very strange” with tire marks on her arms. When approached by other campers, the woman “became very belligerent” and allegedly threatened to follow people home.
