Donald Jordan Reynolds, 85
Don was born on Oct. 22, 1930, to Kenneth and Gladys Reynolds in Kalispell.
He passed away peacefully on June 3, 2016, in the Montana Veterans Home.
He was a lifelong resident of the Flathead Valley, attending Badrock Elementary School and graduating from Flathead County High School.
He married Charlotte Keim in 1952, and she survives him at the family home. They were blessed with three children, Lynn (son) and Celie Reynolds of Spokane, Gerene (daughter) and John Matson of Columbia Falls, and Sandy (daughter) and Steve Frintz of Austin, Texas. They also have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Verna Mae Thomas, of Spearfish, South Dakota; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lois Tidball and Bunny Stockland.
He proudly served in the Army and was a combat veteran of the Korean conflict, where he earned a Bronze Star.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman who made many trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness and was a member of the Back Country Horsemen. He also enjoyed traveling to Alaska with good friends to fish there.
He retired from Plum Creek Plywood after 25 years and enjoyed woodworking, golfing and many other outdoor activities during his retirement.
At his request, he will be cremated and there will no service.
