Edward 'Ed' Sundberg, 59

Edward “Ed” Sundberg, formerly of Havre, was a true-hearted friend to all who knew him. After a long struggle with diabetes, “he passed on to a better place” on June 5, 2016.

He graduated high school in Havre. He then moved to Whitefish, where he devoted just shy of 30 years to Burlington Northern Railroad.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and cruising on his Harley. He was very kind, caring, protective and generous — a true gentleman.

We will always carry Ed’s memory in our hearts.

Donations can be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Montana in his honor.

A wake will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 19, at the Palace Bar in Whitefish.
