LAW ROUNDUP: Woman throws tantrum over low prices
Whitefish Police were unable to locate a woman who left a business on U.S. 93 after screaming and yelling in the lobby about prices not being low enough.
A woman was cited for fraudulently parking on Central Avenue after someone reported her for allegedly using her mother’s handicap parking pass on multiple days when she was running late.
An officer investigated a case on West Second Street where someone called and said he had just run across someone who said that he or she had been jumped and that the individuals involved had smashed a phone. The officer determined that the call was unfounded.
Officers responded to a fight on Central Avenue only to find that the parties had left and that the witnesses were mum about what had happened.
Columbia Falls Police made sure a young man was left in the care of his mother after he allegedly was seen running around drunk, knocking on doors of an apartment building.
Flathead County Sheriff’s Office took a report from KM Ranch road, where $1,800 worth of tools were stolen.
A woman on Northwoods Drive reported that an unknown man had stopped outside her home, asked her son if he could take photos of her home, snapped a few photos, and drove away. The woman wanted the incident logged for information.
A woman was given the number to Border Patrol after she said that she had seen several out of place things going on at a gas station outside of Columbia Falls. She claimed she had seen two men who didn’t speak English hanging around, giving her “the evilest eye.” She suspected the men might not be in the country legally, but gave no indication of why she thought that.
A Lakeside man reported that several gold coins seemed to be missing from a jar he kept in his basement. He did not want to fill out a statement.
Kalispell Police spoke to a homeless man who said that he was only trying to relieve some frustration when he hand delivered a threatening letter to the office staff of a congressional official.
A couple agreed to work things out after a boyfriend claimed that his girlfriend had stolen a key out of his pocket as he slept and locked him out of a house after the two had previously agreed that he would not leave the residence until July.
An officer collected statements from hotel staff after an eviction attempt allegedly ended in a staffer getting slapped. Officers noted that there were conflicting statements given as to what had occurred.
