Don 'DJ' Spranger Jr., 52
Sadly, Don “DJ” Spranger Jr., 52, was fatally injured in an auto accident on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
He was born Dec. 21, 1963, in Phoenix. In 1977, the family moved to Bigfork. After graduating from Bigfork High School in 1982, he returned to Phoenix for additional schooling in mechanical drafting. In 2005, he returned to his family home in Bigfork after leaving Motorola, where he worked as a quality control inspector.
Along with mechanical drafting, he also enjoyed drawing, photography, reading and was a master at the art of creating chain mail. From a very young age, DJ loved science fiction of all kinds. Among his favorites were “Star Trek,” “Star Wars” and “Battlestar Galactica."
But above all else, he absolutely cherished his relationship with his God, Jehovah. Now, while he rests in death, “the family will wait to see him again in the paradise earth Jehovah promises” in Revelation 21:3-4.
He is survived by his parents, Jeanette and Don Spranger Sr.; and his brother Philip, sister-in-law Melissa and their children, Alex, Monica, Sara and Natalie.
A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Bigfork.
