Plant thief strikes north Kalispell

A driver called the Kalispell Police Department after allegedly witnessing a woman in a blue car pull up to a closed store on U.S. 93, move several colorful plants into her car and drive away.

A man was found naked and unconscious at a Kalispell grocery store.

Someone called police to report two dogs left in a car with the windows rolled up.

A downtown business showed police a video of a theft that occurred over the weekend.

A Kalispell resident reported an ongoing barking problem with his neighbor’s dog.

A woman called dispatch to report she had potentially been the victim of a phone scam after she gave her credit card information to an unknown caller. The woman canceled her credit cards and was on her way to the bank to cancel her accounts when she called police. She also said that no fraudulent charges had occurred yet.

Someone stole a bicycle from a man’s garage after the bike thief asked the man to help him with a project.

A man was seen grabbing a small item from a flower bed on the west side of Kalispell and placing the item in his waistband. The caller didn’t know what the man had retrieved from the flower bed but was concerned it was something illegal.

A shopper reported items were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at a grocery store.

A woman’s laptop was stolen from her car while she was having a yard sale.

An abandoned Hyundai Sonata was reported in east Kalispell.

Two men were seen trying to break into a car in a parking lot on U.S. 93 North.

A Kalispell driver reported he was being followed from Foy’s Lake area by a large sport utility vehicle. The caller believed he knew the other driver.


Columbia Falls Police reunited a dog with its owner after the man called to say the description of a found dog matched that of his missing pet.

A drunken man was seen falling into some trees near a Columbia Falls bar.


Someone found $11 on East First Street and turned it in to the Whitefish Police Department.

A Whitefish resident found a missing red long-haired dog on Minnesota Avenue. The caller brought the dog to the police department.
