LETTER: Keith Regier for Senate District 3
I have spent time in Helena during the four legislative sessions (eight years) when Keith Regier has served as House Representative. As president of Montana ProLife Coalition, my focus was testifying for bills to protect the vulnerable unborn children, disabled and elderly. I also paid attention to whether or not Republicans voted for Second Amendment gun rights and other bills that protect our individual freedom by stopping the intrusion of government where government doesn’t belong.
In every case, not only did Keith Regier vote along these principles of life and liberty, he sponsored and carried many bills along those core ideals on which the Montana Republican Platform is based. A kind and gentle man, who communicates well with people of differing beliefs and lifestyles — that is likely the basis for what he calls having in Helena “rapport with the Republicans and … respect from the Democrats without compromising conservative values …”
He has been Republican majority whip and majority leader and served on the House Judiciary Committee all four sessions. He has qualified for that level of leadership because of his integrity, communication style, work and service ethic, and uncompromising dedication to party principles.
In Keith Regier, we have a consummate gentleman, a principled servant-leader with a proven record … What kind of person would run against such a man? It is clear to me, there is only one intelligent, reasonable, principled choice: Keith Regier for Senate District 3.
