Carol Cushman Keim, 82

Carol Cushman Keim, 82, died peacefully in her sleep on May 9, 2016, at the age of 82.

She was born April 9, 1934, to Edna and Beecher Cushman in Great Falls.

She married Lew Keim in 1953. They lived in Helena, Milwaukee, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Denver, before returning to Montana when Lew retired. Carol and Lew lived for more than 20 years on Whitefish Lake.

Lew passed away in 2011. Carol moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2012 to be closer to family.

Carol is survived by her five daughters, Kelly Mikeson of Stanford, Montana, Kathlyn Robinson and Jennifer Fortson of Portland, Mary Frame of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and Karin Padalino of Centennial, Colorado.

Carol is remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Jordan, Miles and Camille Robinson, Claire and Mary Mikeson, Ryan and Kristen Maisenbacher, Jack Wise and Nicholas and Alex Padalino.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 16, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 230 Baker Ave. in Whitefish, followed by burial at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery, located at 641 Conrad Drive in Kalispell. There will be a reception at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1380 Wisconsin Avenue in Whitefish.
