LAW ROUNDUP: Furry fiends flee in jail break
Whitefish Police noted that some “four-footed felons” had escaped from custody at a location on West Sixth Street. The officer planned to come back later and see if the wayward critters could be captured.
A man was taken into custody after he allegedly fled the scene of an accident on Kalispell Avenue.
Columbia Falls Police made sure a woman had a taxi ride home after an officer encountered her on 13th Street West. She had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend.
A man reported to Kalispell Police that he had stopped and set his bike down near the intersection of Seventh Avenue East and Eighth Street East so that he could look at a house for sale. When he rounded the corner to take off on his bike, he found that it had been stolen.
Two guns were stolen from Tenth Avenue West.
An officer checked on two domesticated bunnies that were allegedly playing in a yard near the street at Third Street West and Third Avenue West. The officer was unable to catch the unattended rabbits to alleviate the caller’s concerns that the bunnies might end up “smooshed” by a passing car.
