Debra Granrud, 58

| May 15, 2016 6:00 AM

Debra Granrud was born on April 8, 1958, to Harlow and Enola Lea in Minneapolis, and “went to sleep in Jesus” on May 3, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She met Niles Granrud in Kalispell on July 3, 1975, and they were married on that day one year later.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harlow; grandparents; and is survived by her mother, Enola Willeford; husband Niles; and children Jason and spouse Erin, Aron and spouse Tina, and Michelle and her spouse Kenny; 10 grandchildren, Jason’s Johnathan, James, Emelia and Jaxon; and Aron’s Dakota, Jordan, Samantha, Lexie, Amanda and Tyler; brother Dan and wife Pam, and two sons Nathan and Brian; sister Betsy and husband Daren, and three daughters, Emma, Alice and Mickaela; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Debra had worked as an insurance underwriter at National Flood Services for the past 10 years and dedicated herself to excellent service to every client and coworker. She was very close to many of the clients, and her work ethic will be sorely missed!

Debra was an exceptionally loving wife, mother, hostess and homemaker. She was a generous, selfless soul, who would help accommodate most every need. She was the craftiest person that most had met, in that she made, too numerous to count, quilts, needle point, cross stich, etc. She was an accomplished seamstress and made all the dresses, shirts, pants and ties for her own wedding, and many dresses for others’ weddings.

We have not even begun to miss her in all the ways that she touched our lives. “But on that day when the dead in Christ shall be raised to life eternal, at the last trumpet, we will meet again! Even so Lord Jesus Come!”

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on June 4 at the Church of God Seventh Day, 13902 E 11th St., Tulsa, OK 74108, with luncheon to follow.
