LETTER: Please mow lawn in public spaces

Congratulations! “Give Local Flathead” held on May 3 at the old Gateway West Mall was a great celebration of all the organizations that make the Flathead a wonderful place to live.

It was also a reminder of the folks that work so hard to make it so. I am glad it was so successful.

The outside of the mall was not as inviting. The long, unmowed grass and extraordinary dandelion crop was very disappointing. Who is in charge of landscape maintenance at the facility? The same could be said about the post office on Meridian. It is past time for spring cleanup!
