— St. Matthew’s School will perform “ Rapunzel,” with Missoula Children’s Theatre at 5:30 p.m. today in the auditorium at Flathead High School.

— Flathead Valley Community College will host a free workshop for college-bound students and their families to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid from noon to 6 p.m. Monday in the Broussard Center in room 120. Appointments are not required.

— There is no school Monday for Somers-Lakeside students. It is a teacher work day.

— Bigfork Middle School is hold a food drive from Monday through Friday. Students are asked to bring a grocery bag filled with donations for the Bigfork Food Bank. Items of need are: cereal, tuna packed in water, canned beans and vegetables, peanut butter, toiletries, laundry detergent and diapers (infant and adult).

— Flathead High School students interested in winter cheer must attend an informational meeting after school Tuesday in room 125.

— Stillwater Christian School will hold a Veteran’s Day assembly at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the gym. Students are encouraged to invite family and friends who are veterans.

— Parent/teacher conferences at Columbia Falls Junior High will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

— Wednesday is an early out for Helena Flats School. Parent/teacher conferences will be Wednesday and Thursday.

— Drop-in parent/teacher conferences at West Valley School will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

— Columbia Falls High School will hold a Veteran’s Day assembly with guest speaker former Marine Sgt. Luke Opp at 10 a.m. Thursday in the gym.

— Parent/teacher conferences are set for Thursday at Marion School.

— Swan River students have a 1:45 p.m. dismissal Thursday. Parent/teacher conferences are planned.

— The optional ASVAB, a career exploration test, will be administered to Glacier High School sophomores, juniors and seniors at 8:15 a.m. Thursday in the main office conference room. There is no cost to take the test and it takes about three hours to complete. Interested students must sign up ahead of time in the Career Center by Nov. 9.

— Parent/teacher conferences at Columbia Falls School District are set for Thursday and Friday.

— Whitefish High School will hold a Veteran’s Day celebration with guest speaker Staff Sgt. Francis Scott at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the gym. Veterans are encouraged to attend in uniform.

— Swan River School will hold a Veteran’s Day assembly with guest speaker Navy Master Chief Tom Countryman at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 11 in the gym. Refreshments will be served following the assembly.

— Bigfork High School invites the community to attend a Veteran’s Day assembly at 10 a.m. Friday in the gym. Refreshments will be served following the assembly. The event will be streamed live at bigforkschools.org.

— Fair-Mont-Egan will hold a fall festival at 6 p.m. Friday in the gym. Admission is $2. There will be games, raffles, prizes, a cake walk and food for sale.

— There is no school for grades kindergarten through fifth Friday in Columbia Falls School District for teacher training.

— The community is invited to attend Lakeside Elementary School’s Veteran’s Day assembly with featured guest retired Navy Capt. Craig Solem at 2:15 p.m. Friday in the gym.

— There is no school for Helena Flats students Friday. It is a teacher work day.

— West Valley students will have no school Friday.

— Picture day at Helena Flats School is Nov. 14.

— Smith Valley students have an early out Nov. 15. Kindergarten through third is dismissed at 12:45 p.m. and fourth through eighth grade at 12:55 p.m. Parent/teacher conferences start at 1 p.m.

— Required training for students who want to volunteer for DREAM Adaptive in the upcoming ski season will take place from 5-9 p.m. Nov. 15 in the FVCC Arts and Technology Building, room AT139. Volunteers are needed on weekends and weekdays when school is not in session. Students under 18 will be considered  junior volunteers and will be paired with adult DREAM volunteers.

— A blood drive is planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 15 at Columbia Falls High School. Students must be at least 16 years of age and meet other criteria. Students must sign up ahead of time in room 113.

— Picture retakes at Columbia Falls Junior High are set for Nov. 16.

— Glacier High School student academic progress conferences will be from 1:45 to 3:45 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 16. For more information contact Jan Twamley at 758-8613.

— Create a journal at ImagineIF Bigfork, Columbia Falls and Kalispell locations Nov. 15-26 while supplies last.

— Kila parent/teacher conferences are planned Nov. 16-17.

— Picture retakes at Ruder Elementary will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 18.

— West Valley School will hold a holiday craft show, silent auction, bake sale and festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 19. The craft show is a fundraiser for the school.

— Thanksgiving break at Whitefish Christian Academy is Nov.21-25.

— Flathead 4-H’ers registered for shooting sports should attend orientation at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 in the Expo building at the fairgrounds.

— There is no school for Helena Flats, Marion and Kila students Nov. 23. It is a teacher work day.

— There is no school Nov. 23 for Somers-Lakeside students. It is a teacher work day.
