LETTER: Democrats not squeaky clean

| November 6, 2016 10:00 AM

After reading the Democratic Party candidates’ quotes as to their objectives, I cannot believe that Lisa Morrow would “support eliminating big-money lobbying and politician kickbacks, exposing dirty money and the politicians that take it,” and yet be running as a Democrat. Where has she been? Has she not witnessed the lies and corruption of Hillary and her husband Bill? Or perhaps Obama and his corrupt Justice Department?

If she had just reviewed the Democratic politicians in her young lifetime she would have remembered “Panama Paul” Hatfield — remember, of Great Falls— a liberal judge appointed by Jimmy Carter who gave the final vote to give away the Panama Canal after being appointed to the Senate. Montana voters quickly eliminated him from his Senate seat.

And how about Max Baucus not voting to impeach Bill for lying under oath, or Ruby Ridge and Waco! And maybe we can forget Jon Tester for voting for Obamacare even though 65 percent of Montanans were against it. My New West supplement just got canceled, so I’ll be interested in what my VA doctors say at my yearly physical next week.

Now we have Gov. Bullock depleting Montana’s reserves, awarding out-of-state huge contracts for tourism advertising, so important to Montana.

We can only hope that Trump can get elected, so Israel may have some help and all these dirty politicians, not just Democrats but Republicans as well, can be exposed. That has to be why so many of these long-time crooks called politicians are against Trump … they are terrified of exposure and the truth.

We have seen how these liberals have broken America — financially, morally and with our worldly reputation. Let us save Montana as well as America by voting Republican.

Should Hillary get elected, I predict an American revolution in her first term. Even at 78 years old I am still fit and willing to be in the front line as I’m expendable.

We were given this republic by our founders. It is up to us to save it. Let’s start now! Vote Republican. —Jack Paulson, Bigfork
