LETTER: Misdirection by the Clintons

| November 6, 2016 6:30 AM

I once attended a magic show in Las Vegas to where Siegfried and Roy made a baby elephant disappear off a stage in front on 300 people. How did they do that? Misdirection.

The very same is happening today with the Clinton email scandal — the Clintons are masters of misdirection. While Democrats and Republicans are circling the wagons and checking all their supplies of ammunition, the Clintons are in the middle of the circled wagons laughing at the fools who are looking outward for the enemy.

Forget all the emails back and forth and all the hand-held devices and all the IT techs and anyone else connected to the Clinton Machine, for that is the smokescreen to remove the elephant from the room.

The bottom line is the “server” that Mrs. Clinton set up. Not who set it up or who maintained it, but the essence of a “private server” used by a public official to conduct public and private business away from the prying eyes of Congress and the American public.

There are at least a half a dozen rules and regulations concerning this very matter with people who enter into public service. It is a felony to have such a device or devices, for it is secret in its nature and does not allow anyone to view any transactions that are taking place.

Just the very fact that Mrs. Clinton had a private server or servers is in itself more than ample reason to disqualify her from running for public office, for she has already committed a felony and that is punishable by five years in a federal prison! —Jim Garvey, Kalispell
