Zachary Chase Rhoads, 16

| November 19, 2016 7:00 AM

Zach “left us to be with the Lord” on Nov. 12, 2016, near Kalispell.

He was born on Aug. 18, 2000, to Tesa (Rhoads) Rein in Billings. Zach spent the beginning of his life in Laurel. This is where he attended school until his sophomore year. Zach was a great student at the Laurel High School where he participated in track and field and football. Zach’s sophomore year he moved to Kalispell with his mother and brothers. He attended Flathead High School where he also participated in track and field and football. In the short time Zach was in Kalispell he made a lot of friends. This just shows you what a truly great kid Zach was and will be missed by many and not forgotten.

Zach truly loved the outdoors. He had a great passion for fishing and hunting with his family. He also loved to ride horses and was learning how to rope so one day he would be able to team rope and, if you found him in the house, he would be playing the Xbox with his brothers.

Zach will be truly missed by all of his friends and family. He was becoming an exceptional young man “and left to be with the Lord” way too early in his life. He had an extremely good relationship with his brothers and left them with some great memories that they will never forget.

“Zach, we love you we miss you but we will never forget you. Forever 16! How cool is that!”

Zach is survived by his two brothers, Tyler and Hunter; great-grandmother, Darlene “Nanny” Rhoads (Clayton); grandfather, Rod Rhoads (Linda); aunt, Tacy Schuchard (Shane); uncle, Tad Rhoads; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by great-grandfather Zeke Rhoads, and grandmother Vicki Rhoads.

Services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, Nov. 19, at Smith Chapel at 315 E. 3rd, Laurel, Montana. A reception will follow.
