LETTER: Clinton voters give serious cause for concern

| November 27, 2016 10:00 AM

There has been much speculation over the Hillary Clinton loss and why the polls were so far off. During the campaigning, liberals tended to be aggressive, actually defiant in their support of Hillary while confidently responding to the polls. Rather than experience in-your-face animosity, conservative Trump supporters generally avoided exposing their positions, even claiming indecision when questioned. This combination likely distorted the predictions.

Now I am truly alarmed about the post-election behavior of Clinton supporters precipitating turbulence and violence nationwide. Such extreme behavior is abnormal and a frightening indication of a changing culture throughout our country. Excessive displays of grief and unbalanced emotion to the point of rioting is an indication of dangerous, mass psychotic mind-set.

The popular vote indicates approximately 50 percent of our population willing to over-look and treat lightly the illegal, even criminal, past performance of their chosen female candidate. Her election would have proven to be an embarrassment in the evolving history of women. It would not have been due to lack of voter knowledge as information was eventually revealed by most of the news media, and certainly through extensive internet communication coverage.

It is my opinion that those who knowingly voted for Hillary Clinton, while aware of her illegal, unconstitutional behavior and activities, should be considered accomplices in crime. The driver of the get-away car for the robber and loot is considered an accomplice. They were endorsing Hillary, knowing that her traditional practices would continue once in office. This means that the bulk of our population is now willing to shrug off and ignore immorality and corruption when they feel it is in their own self-interests to do so or for a nebulous euphoric cause.

Our education system has basically been the source of what we are now experiencing. We cannot totally blame teachers, parents or even ministers for what is being exhibited by the current younger generation. These adults are, themselves, the products of several generations of a deliberately destructive education system. We are reaping what has been sown; carefully planned, designed and implemented by a decadent group of schemers. Who they are and how they have achieved this deterioration is known and well documented; books and articles available. Most people have remained oblivious, or in denial of what has been happening. But what we are now witnessing in each community and neighborhood nationwide is proof of mental and moral decay too blatant to ignore. Our Christian nation has declined to a serious level on the brink of virtual collapse.

This recent election has provided an awakening of citizens and national leaders to study and try to comprehend what has been happening to us. Our country has been provided the opportunity to benefit from lessons learned through successful experimentation in government as well as achieving a track record of great success. Truly we have been divinely blessed but have also been made aware of significant weaknesses. Now with our new administration we are in position to proceed onward with renewed insight and strength to not only correct course within our own country, but also to lead the way for true humanitarian leadership throughout the world. We are even in position to help determine if the present United Nations will listen, pay heed and merit recognition and global respect, or must they simply dissolve their proclaimed efforts. —Clarice Ryan, Bigfork
