Officers report for cleaning duty

Vandalism was reported at a fishing pond where someone allegedly tipped over the portable toilets. Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies were requested to respond, pick up the toilets and clean up the mess.

Someone reportedly caught a bunch of fish at the Mill Fishing Pond and left them there to rot.

Deputies pursued a man who fled on foot near Mill Fishing Pond, reportedly using a stun gun to bring the man down and arrest him.

Someone called to make a noise complaint after allegedly being awakened by a slamming door.

A woman was reportedly “acting very strange,” according to a witness who claimed to see her dancing around and running into a ditch near Bowen Hill. Authorities advised the woman was fine. She was “just dancing and looking for antlers.”

A new Libby resident discovered the windows on both of his vehicles had been shot out with a BB gun.

A male black lab was found at J. Neils Park with a choke chain and bark collar.

Following his allegedly rough arrest, a man wanted to file a complaint against a Columbia Falls Police officer for having his handcuffs too tight and pushing him into the patrol car. The man said he believed his finger was broken during the incident.

A handgun was found in a public restroom on Nucleus Avenue. The firearm was returned to its owner who accidentally left the gun in the facility.

Someone allegedly stole a TV out of a house on 10th Street West.

When a woman went out to start her car, she allegedly found a crumpled note on her vehicle that read, “I will kill you.” The woman told Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies she did not know who left the note or why.
