Easter events planned across the valley

Gather your kiddos, grab their Easter baskets and head for one of these fun Easter egg hunts. Here’s a rundown of where the action is:

SATURDAY

Kalispell Church of the Nazarene hosts an Easter egg hunt for children in preschool through third grade at 10 a.m. at 1295 Whitefish Stage Road in Kalispell. Everyone is welcome.

Hope Church will have its annual helicopter Easter egg drop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Evergreen Junior High School, 18 W. Evergreen Dr., in Kalispell.

Other activities include a rock wall and games. Food will be available and a raffle will be held.

Flathead Shelter Friends sponsors its fifth annual Easter egg hunt, promptly at 1 p.m. at the large pavilion at Kalispell’s Woodland Park. All children ages 11 and younger are welcome. Prizes will be awarded and free pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available.

The Bigfork Masonic Lodge is sponsoring an Easter egg hunt starting at noon at Bigfork Elementary School.

Lone Pine State Park invites kids of all ages to hop into spring with a woodland Easter egg hunt and hike beginning at 11 a.m. The event also includes egg face painting, crafts, a storybook reading, games and silly Easter photos at the Easter photo booth.

An egg hunt and hike will begin at the top of every hour. Each child will complete the hike while collecting one of each colored egg hidden along the trail. Bring your own basket.

The Kalispell Center Mall hosts an Eggstravaganza egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event takes place near the Herberger’s Court. Bring your own basket.

SUNDAY

The Kalispell Elks host an Easter egg hunt for children at 1 p.m. sharp on Sunday, at Lions Park across from Rosauers.
