| April 18, 2017 8:39 PM

Mrs. Beryl Dorean Krejci (nee Barney) died peacefully in her home on April 16, 2017, at 3:22 a.m. in Marion, at the age of 90 years.

Beryl is survived by her sister, Joanne Haysom, of Port Orchard, Washington; and by her children, Keith B. West of Marion, Kathy and Marvin Fisher of Coram, Kay and Terri West of Columbia Falls, Kerry and Deb West of Marion, and Valeda and Chris Siek of Hamilton; and by her stepchildren, Greg Krejci of Gig Harbor, Washington, William Krejci Jr. of Moyie Springs, Idaho, Michelle Krejci of Seattle, and Michael Krejci of Moyie Springs, Idaho, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Beryl was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bill D. Krejci; her husband, Byron O. West, of 30 years; her sister, Beverly Wilson; and brothers, Theron Barney and Kendall Barney; and her eldest son, Kenyon Deloy West.

Beryl was born in Inglewood, California, on July 3, 1926. She was self-educated and well read, continually availing herself of a multitude of literary genres, loved and wrote poetry, enjoyed all music (learning to play the accordion) and was enamored of all nature, wildlife, landscapes and a special fascination for “prairie” wild flowers. Her plants and flowerbeds were always a relaxation and comfort to her. Montana was her beautiful state of choice.

Beryl excelled in grace and love for all her children and grandchildren, always with integrity and a zest for life, being a wonderful example and welcoming all who crossed her path, while remaining at all times firm and steadfast in her faith.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Beryl’s life!

Our family would like to thank her Christian family and friends, the various caregivers, hospice services of Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and especially Kerry and Deb West for all their love and care in her final days here on earth.
