Great Bear Festival comes to Kalispell's Depot Park

Celebrate local and regional beers, wines and hard ciders at the first Great Bear Festival on Saturday, Aug. 5, from 3 to 10 p.m. at Depot Park in Kalispell.

The Daybreak and Noon Rotary Clubs of Kalispell are putting on the Great Bear Festival. Participants will have the opportunity to taste local and regional beers, wines and hard ciders. Local food vendors will also be on hand, and musicians will perform throughout the event. The Great Bear Festival will have something for everyone.

Bands scheduled to perform include the Mike Murray Band, Kenny James Miller Band and Zino and the Bel Aires.

Tickets for participants older than 21 are $25, which includes a commemorative glass and 12 tokens for food and drinks.

Cub tickets, for ages 13-20, are $10 and are for festival entry only. Children 12 and younger are free.

The Great Bear Festival VIP pass, for $120, includes access to a private tent with tables and chairs. Inside the tent, VIP ticket holders will enjoy free beer and wine tastings and appetizers. The pass also includes the commemorative glass and 12 tokens for food and drink outside of the VIP area.
