Kids not injured in locked-car incident

A woman called Kalispell Police Department to report she had accidentally locked her kids in her car outside of a local hair salon. The vehicle had been locked for five minutes and the kids reportedly seemed fine and were not in distress.

A male was reportedly seen laying in the grass near a telephone pole “flipping out.” The man was allegedly failing around in the grass, crawled around for a bit and was then seen talking to himself and hitting the ground.

The manager of a local business reported possible drug use outside of his establishment. One male was reportedly “tweaking.” An officer made contact with the male in question. As the officer approached, the man allegedly picked up a bat but was instructed to drop it.

A caller reported a couch was stuffed into his doorway. The couch allegedly was previously located across the street and the caller believed someone moved it. The caller put the couch back on the street and spoke with an officer about on-going issues with juveniles in the area.

A driver reported a man standing in the middle of the road who was reportedly seen hitting the side of a glass building and then yelling at a sign.

A caller reported that a group of at least 15 people were allegedly fighting. One employee reportedly witnessed an injured male with blood on his face. Multiple individuals allegedly involved in the altercation left the location on foot.

An individual contacted the Whitefish Police Department to report a belligerent driver who allegedly pulled into a parking space that didn’t exist and scraped up two other vehicles. Earlier, that same driver had reportedly run a red light. The driver of the vehicle was allegedly last seen walking down an alley. Officers located the vehicle in question and called a tow service.

A tree reportedly fell down on a vehicle. The tree was described as more than a foot and a half in diameter. The tree was partially blocking a road and was later removed.
