James 'Jim' Michael Redman, 72

James “Jim” Michael Redman, 72, died on Aug. 2, 2017.

Jim was able to spend the last days of his life at the cabin on McGregor Lake and was surrounded the love, joy and happiness (sights, sounds and smells) of his children and grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his wife Kathleen “Kippy”; sister Lynn Wagner; son Jimmy Redman; son David Redman; son Sean Rumelhart; daughter Shannon Mckeon; son Ryan Rumelhart; daughter Erin Rumelhart; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jim was born on Dec. 26, 1944, in Enterprise, Oregon to Jim and Marge Redman. He graduated from Grant Union High School in John Day, Oregon. He started working for Pacific Power in 1965 as a meter reader, then apprentice lineman, journeyman lineman and into management in 1980 in Libby.

Jim and Kippy were married in Libby Sept. 9, 1989. Jim retired from Flathead Electric Co-Op in 2001 and they began traveling the world and filling their days with friends and family.

The Jim and Kathleen Redman family would like to thank all of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Kalispell Regional Medical Center for their amazing care.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
