Girls prepared to protect property

Two juvenile females reported that a man wearing dark clothing allegedly broke into a shed on their property and kicked in the screen on a window to the house while the two girls were home alone. Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies were advised to call the house before approaching because the girls were “armed and nervous.”

A party on Buffalo Lane reportedly got so big and so loud that the music was “vibrating through the valley,” according to a neighbor.

A female tan pit bull mix was found on Helena Flats Road and taken to the county shelter.

A woman reportedly returned home after leaving town for a couple days to find her husband had allegedly soaked all her clothes in gasoline or some other chemical and left them in the garage.

A man was reported to Kalispell Police for “showing his privates” and yelling at a woman and her granddaughter.

A man was reportedly seen illegally living behind an office space. The man reportedly had only a suitcase and a lawnmower with him. Officers moved the man along.

Someone reportedly put several fliers on the windows of a business.

Someone reported finding a bullet hole in the glass window front of a store. The reporting person said someone could “just touch the glass and it would fall apart.”

A safe was reportedly found sitting open on Alpine Market in front of a laundry mat, according to Whitefish Police.
