Richard Glenn Rossbach of Hungry Horse pleaded not guilty to felony criminal distribution of dangerous drugs in Flathead District Court Aug. 10.

The defendant’s motion for bond reduction was also denied. Rossbach is currently being held in Flathead County Detention Center. Bail has been set at $30,000.

According to court documents, the Northwest Drug Task Force conducted an undercover drug buy operation of methamphetamine on June 8, 2016. Later on that date, Rossbach made arrangements and met a confidential informant who allegedly purchased two plastic bags containing 6.3 grams of what the Montana State Crime Lab confirmed as meth.

A jury trial is set for Oct. 10. If convicted, Rossbach may face a sentence of one year to life and a maximum fine of $50,000.
