U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson will be in Polson on Monday, Aug. 21 to deliver keynote remarks at the United Native American Housing Association summer meeting.
The conference at KwaTaqNuk Resort is a gathering of Native American housing authorities from the Great Plains region.
While in Montana, the Carson will also meet with UNAHA leadership, tribal members and visit local communities to learn about the status of affordable housing on tribal lands.
