Handbag goes missing at wildlife preserve

A woman was reportedly riding her bike near a wildlife preserve when she realized she had set her bag down on the side of the road. When she went back to find it, it was allegedly gone and a woman was sitting on the side of the road nearby. The reporting person accused the woman of being a prostitute and claimed she got into a truck that pulled up and peeled out of the area. The woman never saw the other woman with the bag.

A woman told Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies she came home to find her husband gone after he allegedly punched multiple holes in the wall of the house. He also allegedly left a smashed cellphone and a note saying he didn’t know when he’d be back.

A woman reportedly contacted deputies to have them remove her daughter’s dogs from her property and take them to the pound. The woman said one of the dogs had bitten someone and was concerned about it happening again. Officers informed the woman that it was a civil issue and they could not just come take someone’s dogs. The woman was told she would have to evict her daughter to get rid of the dogs.

Two men in a black truck on Conrad Drive reportedly approached a young boy and told him to get into their truck with them. The boy’s mother said both the driver and the passenger had tried to convince him to get in.

A woman reported getting a phone call from a man speaking broken English who allegedly insisted on coming to her house to fix her computer even after she said no.

A woman reported being threatened by a strange man in a painter’s hat near the parking area of a bike path, according to Kalispell Police. The man allegedly called the woman a number of names, and she stated she almost felt threatened enough to draw her handgun. The man allegedly also took pictures of the woman and threatened to post them all over social media. The woman was advised to call again if she spotted him or if something else happened.

A man was reported for animal abuse after he allegedly strangled his small dog for not doing its business fast enough.

A woman reported a man with a big belly and scruffy beard for allegedly going after her daughter, swinging his fists. The girl’s friends reportedly caught the incident on video.

A couple was reportedly seen being intimate in front of a high school building. A group of kids were reportedly watching.

A bartender allegedly received a counterfeit $50 bill from a customer. When approached, the customer allegedly ran out the door.

Someone reported a driver for driving with a ski mask on. The reporting person reported no other illegal or suspicious activity.
