Loud group gathers to watch fight

A Glenwood Road resident called the Whitefish Police Department to report a loud party going on nearby. The caller said there were a lot of male voices yelling, and requested that police tell the group to keep the noise down and close the doors. Officers found that the gathering wasn’t a party, but a group watching the fight on TV together. They agreed to close their doors to help with the noise.

Officers spoke with four or five campers in the Pine Avenue area about trespassing.

Someone reportedly found a wallet in a parking lot and turned it in to police.

A security employee of a Central Avenue business requested police assistance in getting a disorderly female to leave the premises. The female was allegedly refusing to leave and was attempting to hit the employee. Officers removed the woman and advised her not to return to the location.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to reports of grass fires on Trumble Creek Road and on U.S. 2 East.

The South Kalispell Fire Department responded to reports of flooding outside on Willow Glen Drive.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to reports of smoke outside on Eighth Street West, and to reports of an outdoor gas odor on Walsh Road.
