Bike bandit brings back the booty

Kalispell Police officers located a male riding an allegedly stolen bike. When confronted, the man reportedly admitted to having taken the bike from a grocery store and was escorted back to the store to return it.

A large silver dog was found in a gas station parking lot and taken to the county shelter.

A group of five men were reportedly seen in a car handling multiple guns. Officers located the vehicle, the men and the guns.

A man reportedly left a party and came back with a gun after a “play fight” escalated into a real argument.

A woman reportedly walked into a gas station asking for help. The woman claimed she had an infection in her leg preventing her from walking, despite the gas station employee stating she walked to the gas station. The woman requested an ambulance and law enforcement, but allegedly walked away when both arrived.

Someone reported seeing a man passed out in his vehicle with a liquor bottle in his hand. Officers located the man who said he was not “passed out” but looking down at his phone. The man gave officers permission to check his vehicle. The officers reportedly found no liquor bottles and saw no signs that the man was intoxicated.

While riding her bike down Big Mountain Road, a woman reported hearing “smashing and crashing” of glass at a house where a man was allegedly yelling out drugs from inside. The woman told Whitefish Police she saw children playing in the yard and was concerned for them.

A surfboard was reportedly stolen from out of a boat parked behind a home on Iowa Avenue.

A woman reported her ex-husband to Columbia Falls Police for allegedly throwing things at her vehicle and using a garden hose to spray the inside of her car.

A woman was allegedly taken to the county detention center after someone reported her for driving a vehicle with its muffler dragging on the road and throwing sparks.

Someone reported their neighbor for playing loud music. When the reporting person attempted to confront the noisemaker, the man allegedly cursed and claimed to be a “really good friend of the sheriff’s” before slamming the door. The music was off before officers could respond.
