Neighbor reports pain in the ax

| December 4, 2017 9:14 PM

Two residents of McMannamy Way reported each other for assault but disagreed on the origin of the argument, according to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. The male party alleged a woman was out walking her dog when she ran up an attacked him, attempting to punch him and pulling his coat and shirt off before pushing him to the ground. The woman claimed she was walking down her driveway when the man “came at her” with a “medieval ax” and tried to head butt her in the chest. The woman said the man threatened to “shove the ax up her rear end,” so she pulled his coat over his head and knocked him to the ground.

A suspicious man was reportedly walking around on Dawn Drive at 2 a.m. carrying a pitchfork.

Two people reportedly broke in and made camp in a man’s home on North Fork Road. The suspects allegedly entered, made a fire, used the toilet and shot a BB gun. The homeowner reportedly returned the next morning to find the house in disarray and the intruders gone.

Someone reported hearing gunshots late at night coming from Wittlake Drive.

A Whitefish resident called Whitefish Police when a man dressed in black and blue ski clothing allegedly walked into his home, refused to leave and then physically removed him from his house. The reporting party claimed he did not know the intruder, who was allegedly unarmed.
