Sleepy patron snoozes on store bench

| December 24, 2017 6:35 PM

A manager at a Whitefish strip mall called the Whitefish Police Department to report a man sleeping on a bench in their store. They judged him to be homeless based on his clothing and appearance, and said they wanted a mental evaluation.

One man called because he had been decorating graves at the Whitefish cemetery when his car got stuck.

Another person called and told dispatch that people were “driving willy nilly,” and the reporting party was “fixin’ to leave.”

Someone called because they were out at the bars in Whitefish and thought they saw the man who assaulted their brother two weeks ago. He wanted police to check him out and confirm. They did, but it was someone else.

One man got kicked out of a bar in Whitefish and allegedly proceeded to harass people outside the front door before being chased off, according to a bar employee.
