$1,000 cell phone goes missing from purse

According to the Whitefish Police Department, someone at a bar reportedly stole a woman’s phone out of her bag. The woman told law enforcement the phone is worth $1,000.

A woman said license plates were stolen out of her shed.

A Whitefish resident who was out of town received a call from the water department who told the resident their pipes had burst and the water was shut off. The caller asked law enforcement to check out the house to make sure there was no damage.

A bartender said two men fighting in front of a bar. When officers separated them and told them to move along, the men reportedly went back into the bar. Both men were removed again and trespassed from the bar.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, someone took a “for sale” sign out of a resident’s yard and threw it in the road. The resident said his ax was also stolen from the wood pile.

A man said his girlfriend had a set of keys to his pickup and he thought she came during the night and stole the vehicle. Officers made contact with the woman who returned the vehicle.

A broken water meter was spraying water all over.

A caller found a scale with a white powdery substance in the women’s bathroom at a convenience store.

A man who came to help fix the electrical wiring in a camper reportedly became “out of hand” with the woman in the camper. The woman reportedly got him out of the camper and locked the door.

According to the Columbia Falls Police Department, a woman got a call from someone who spotted her stolen vehicle.

The driver of a vehicle reportedly took the mirror off another vehicle when it swung into the wrong lane.

A bartender reported five people were trying to fight one person.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, a man threatened employees at a business for blocking in his elderly mother’s house with snow. The man was counseled by police. He told them he was frustrated because his mother missed a doctor’s appointment. Officers reported seeing a snow berm in front of the house, and the business owner agreed to make sure the snow would no longer block the house.

A neighbor’s dog reportedly charged a woman when she tried to leave her house.

A man said his son was doing brodies and driving recklessly on his property and he didn’t want him there.
