Bigfork woman attacked by cat

A woman in Bigfork called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report an assault on her employee, who was allegedly bitten by a feral cat. The woman stated that she planned to set traps for the cat.

A traffic violation turned violent when a man who was allegedly speeding through a trailer park in Kalispell stopped and reportedly punched someone twice when confronted.

Someone reported seeing a deputy speeding through a school zone. The person who made the report “didn’t think it was cool.”

A chainsaw turned up at a pawn shop in Columbia Falls two weeks after it was allegedly stolen out of the bed of a truck. The person who claimed the saw had not made an initial report when it was allegedly stolen, according to authorities.

Off-duty for a deputy meant on-duty for one citizen, who reported a reckless driver on Derns Road. When the caller approached the car to confront the other man about his speed, the driver reportedly informed him that he was an off-duty sheriff’s deputy and rolled up his window.

One Kalispell Police Department officer caught someone allegedly attempting to jaywalk. The perpetrator was issued a warning and dismissed.

Business was interrupted at a store in Kalispell by a man allegedly walking around yelling and harassing employees and customers for Oxycontin.
