Road rage incident allegedly ends in foot injury

Kalispell Police took a report from Four Mile Drive and Stillwater Road, where someone reported that another driver had run over his foot with a vehicle. The man reported that he had seen another vehicle driving recklessly on Four Mile Drive, attempting to pass in an unsafe manner. The man reported that he stopped his vehicle diagonally across the road and the other driver got out and started yelling. The other person then allegedly got back into the vehicle and tried to drive around the man. The other driver allegedly ran over the man’s foot. Both parties then pulled off the roadway and waited for police.

Advice was given to a man who called to ask if it was OK for his son to park a tractor-trailer on Ninth Avenue West.

A woman called from East Idaho Street to report that her checkbook had been stolen from her vehicle sometime in the past month.

A firearm that had been reported stolen out of Seattle was recovered after an officer was called to Liberty Street to handle a call about a door being kicked in and an apartment being ransacked.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office told a man in Creston to get a no contact order after he reported that his soon-to-be ex kept texting him after he unblocked her number.

Two snowmobiles were reported stolen from Martin City.

A woman reported that multiple checks worth more than $1,000 each had been written to her.

Parties were separated on Mountain Meadow Road after someone reported that one man had thrown a pipe at another man.

Alcohol was reported stolen from Hungry Horse.

A woman called from Montana 35 outside of Kalispell to report that she thought her vehicle might have been shot at because there was a bullet hole in it, but that she wasn’t sure.

A man reported that an ice house that had been stolen from Monroe Street in Bigfork had now been returned. Tools and a toolbox were still allegedly missing from the property.

A deputy went to walk through a casino after a worker called to complain that a lot of “shady people” and “crackheads” were allegedly hanging out there.

A storage unit was reportedly broken into in Coram.

Columbia Falls Police took a report from someone who wanted to know if officers could do anything about two fawns that were trying to cross a roadway, but could not make it across because of traffic.

Someone on Nucleus Avenue called to report that he was en route to the emergency room after an unknown person had hit him several times in the face so hard that he fell to the ground.

Whitefish Police took a report from Fir Avenue about someone allegedly threatening to call from out of state, pretend to be someone in Whitefish, and threaten to hurt members of the Whitefish person’s family. The out-of-state person allegedly wanted a special response team to show up at the location and for someone to get hurt.

Yellow tortoise-shell glasses were reported missing on East Second Street.

Someone reported that hateful phone calls had been made to them. Extra patrol was slated.
