Beverly Jean Bateman, 68

Beverly Jean Bateman of Great Falls passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, in Kalispell.

A memorial service with reception to follow will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at the West Side United Methodist Church in Great Falls.

Beverly was born on July 4, 1948, in Great Falls to John and Mabel Bateman. She attended schools in Great Falls, graduating from C.M. Russell High School in 1966.

She later graduated from Great Falls Commercial College and began her career in insurance. Beverly was employed with Rocky Mountain Insurance for many years, and later transferred to Kalispell to work for the Insurance Exchange. Her career spanned over 50 years.

Bev enjoyed traveling, baking, canning, sewing and lunching with the girls. She also was active in the foster parenting program.

Beverly is survived by two adopted daughters, Candis and Cierra; sister, Elaine (Gene) Meier; brother, Jack Bateman; and mother, Mabel Bateman.
