Florence Lucille (Derencin) Welsh, 98

Florence Lucille (Derencin) Welsh, 98, passed away peacefully Jan. 22, 2017, in Columbia Falls.

Mother was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, on Aug. 7, 1918.

She was a loving doting mother, and grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband Maj. Charles H. Welsh. U.S. Army Retired, formerly of Somerset, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her children, Susan Nyberg and husband John of Arizona, Robert Welsh and wife Sharen of Arizona, Nancy L’Homme-dieu and husband Phelps of Montana, Cynthia Mash and husband Eugene of Arizona, and Mark Welsh and wife Lucinda of Virginia; and sister, Dorothy, of Michigan.

Private services are being held. Internment will follow this year in Pennsylvania.
